About The Founder & Author 

- Althea Jones, Author -

Althea Jones is first and foremost a daughter of the King, a devoted mother to three sons, and a loving wife to her husband, Dontrelle Jones. Beyond her dedication to family, Althea has been blessed with the gift of writing. Her love for writing began in middle school, and as she grew older, she realized that using this gift was a calling. Every story she writes is inspired by her faith and the guidance of God. Eventually, Althea was inspired to turn her passion and experiences into a business aimed at helping others develop and write their own books.

A former educator, Althea now works as a School Counselor, where she has had the privilege of working with children from diverse backgrounds. Through these experiences, she has learned to appreciate each child's uniqueness, which inspired her to write her first children’s book, "I Can Because I Am." To date, she has self-published 25 books, available in the Purposed Writings bookstore.

Her first book, born out of her love for youth and Jesus Christ, fueled her passion to share her testimony and lead young people to Christ. This passion ultimately led to the creation of "Winning Souls for Christ: A Guide for Teens and Young Adults." Althea believes in the power of encouragement and affirmation, and she strives to inspire and empower youth and fellow believers through her writing.

Driven by her faith, Althea later created "Counting My Blessings," a 12-month reflection journal designed to help others recognize and reflect on the blessings in their lives.

In addition to her books, Althea is also a blogger. She began blogging as a way to share her experiences and challenges as a mother of three young boys. Visit her blog, "Mom of 3 Kings," for more insights into her journey.
